All of these sound like me. Many allergies, and now it seems that I have chronic fatigue and no real known cause. My Nathuropath and myself think I may have systemic yeast problems. WE have ruled out adrenal fatigue, and heavy metal toxicity so I think that will be my next step. I found a website called The Candida Cleanser and there is a lot of info on that site. I have just started going through it. I do think it will be worth it. There is a new treatment which is just coming to Canada, in which they take some of your blood and put ultraviolet rays through it then inject it back into you and it is said to clean up your blood and by doing that it clears up many things they claim. When I use this treatment I will post about it on my website, so please check it out. It has alternative treatments for cancer and a post about arthritis. I will be putting more on it as I learn more about these things. Take care and God Bless Alana

Jennifer, thank you for visiting. I have learned, since beginning this blog, that I am not alone. I have met many others like me who suffer from various forms of chronic ailments, and we help each other through it all. It definitely helps to know that you're not alone. It can be hard to go about your day and feel like the only person in the world who is always sick. We catch a lot of colds here too, but I think the symptoms are worse due to the allergies. It's sometimes hard to know when it's one or the other, honestly. Getting the chronic conditions under control will also help with preventing colds and coughs, or at least reduce the severity.

Thank you for commenting. I hope you get to feeling better soon. Remember to drink A LOT of water, as dehydration can cause an increase in asthma symptoms and is the easiest thing to avoid.

Thank you for posting this blog! It makes you feel like you are not alone! I am new to all of this as I recently was diagnosed with adult onset asthma after I had my first baby in June. I have always suffered from seasonal allergies, and truly believe I always had a mild case of asthma that just wasn't diagnosed. After I had my baby I think it just got a lot worse! Ever since I was officially diagnosed I feel like I am always catching colds, which then turn into bronchitis. It doesn't help that I am a teacher, and seem to catch everything from the kids! My husband and baby are also catching colds constantly. Is this a common characteristic of asthma? Not to mention I too suffer from anxiety which doesn't help matters!

Thankfully, my friends do not have food allergies. It just my kids and me, although I have family members who have different food allergies and intolerances, which is stressful, but we make it work. It's amazing how well you can eat when everyone has a dietary restriction. Thanks for the helpful link, Michelle

Hey -

So it sounds like you have a few allergies going on there, to say the least. Don't know about you, but in my group of friends, we ALL have allergies (and annoyingly, different allergies). It makes eating together a real chore.

Because of that, I designed a customizable, downloadable spreadsheet to make things easier to eat with allergic friends. Here's to hoping it helps you or your readers.

Mandy, this blog is just as much for me as it is for others like me. It helps to keep me on track and focused on my health goals. It's made a real difference, much like journaling would.

Thanks for visiting and commenting. :)

I have to say "Thank You"!!! I so appreciate your blog. All these years I thought it was just me. I have so many similarities, and I came across your blog because I'm sick again and I just can't take it. I also have all the allergies known to man, as well as asthma and the acid reflux. I'm also sensitive to many foods but they won't kill me, I'm lucky there. I have been sick my whole life, not just allergies, sick. This past month alone I have literally been sick 20 of the 30 days, it's insanity. I thought maybe it might be in relation to my allergies but I took my allergy medication (Alavert) which is so far the only one I haven't become immune to, and it did NOTHING. So again NyQuil is my best friend. Feeling crummy is bad enough but I will do just about anything under the sun to make my nose stop running, dripping, sneezing, etc. I'm probably not the healthiest person, I'm overweight and I don't take vitamins. However, I try to eat right, I eat my vegetables, etc. I drink TONS of water, it's my favorite drink. I don't do drugs, smoke or drink alcohol. Like you I'm also allergic to cigarettes. I would exercise more to try to lose some of the weight but I can't exercise when I'm sick, which is alot. When I FINALLY feel good I do try to spend some time on the treadmill. My husband is also one of those people with no allergies and on top of that in the 4 years we've been together he's only been sick 3 times, I hate him, lol. I'm not a big pill person and I hate the fact that I should have to rely on medication to function like a normal person. So I try to avoid medication but I'm to the point where being reliant is such a minimal sacrifice. I so hope that someone can help you so maybe in the future people like me can have some form of hope. Thank you again for the blog.

I can't imagine life with all the struggles you must have to live with.. However I have to share with you www. usana.com.. They have some amazing supplements and have had some great successes with allergies and MANY other conditions! I know you take supps, but you have not likely tried these!! If you feed the cells of the body the nutrients they need in a form that the body actually recognizes and can absorb, you get off to a good start. If you also want to check out www. sanoviv.com they are a health treatment center (that has NEVER had a staph in fection) and you might what to go there and have them help you learn to cope better with your issues. I am sorry but if you have been all those meds for sooo long, it will be taking a toll on your body and definitely your organs... Excuse my burst of info, but it just pains me to see people suffering.
