How Google Keeps Their Employees Healthy

There are a few forward thinking companies who offer free lunch to their employees with delicious, healthy alternatives to what they would get if they bought their own lunches.

Zappos is one such company, offering an in-house cafeteria with free lunch to all of their employees everyday.  It’s one of the many benefits that makes Zappos a great place to work.

Now we learn that search master Google has done the same in order to enhance the work performance and health of its employees.  Healthy employees have fewer sick days, require less insurance payouts, have more energy and focus, and are more productive.

The infographic below shows how Google “optimizes” its employees through healthier eating habits. It’s pretty cool. Check it out.
