Suicide Prevention Week

Yesterday, I learned that this week is Suicide Prevention Week.

Let me begin by stating that if you or a loved on is in crisis, please call 9-1-1, go to the emergency room or call: 1-800-273-TALK (8255) for the Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

There’s help available, and there is hope!  Life is worth living.  Please don’t give up.

If you are in crisis, please call immediately and someone will be there to talk to you for as long as you need.  The Suicide Prevention Lifeline is in place to help people who call in feeling distraught or in crisis due to depression, physical illness, family problems, relationship problems, abuse, violence, economic hardship, or anything else that might be pushing you to the brink.
