It’s not just me. Even UCLA researchers say that visualization actually works to improve health!
I was reading some more FIRST for women today, and found an article entitled “21 natural immunity boosters”. Number 4 was called “Visualize an army.” Interesting…
It says that the power of the mind is astounding, and UCLA researchers have stated that “the brain and immune system are so intricately connected” that taking some time to envision an army of immune cells marching through your body destroying viruses, bacteria and other nasty “invaders” will boost your immunity within 48 hours.
It’s best to try and do this if you’re stuck in a long line or in traffic. I will probably do it while doing chores.
It reminded me of “The Bloodmobile” by They Might Be Giants. It’s this cute music video to teach kids about science. You’ll see what I mean when you get to 1:00.
In other news, I finally made an appointment to see a doctor about my exhaustion and mood swings. Fingers crossed that we can figure this out and I can have a distinct answer and path to follow in order to feel and live better.
