Hello, Joy. I’m so happy you came across my site and enjoyed this article. I enjoyed re-reading it after so long once I saw your comment. Thank you for that as well, because re-reading this reminded me of a strength I had when I wrote it. I have turned 30 since writing this, and I’ve felt lost and regretful about things because I’m not where I thought I would be. But I was right when I wrote this – it doesn’t matter. There’s still so much to learn, accomplish and endure. Life continues to unfold.

And I still think Gilbert is annoying. I did end up trying to watch the film when it came out on Netflix. I couldn’t even get through the first part of it. I don’t even think she made it to Italy before I became fed up and turned it off. It was AWFUL, worse than the book!

I absolutely love what you have to say about “Eat, Pray, Love” I have never seen the movie or read the book and I never will!!!! Thanks so much for sharing! I love it!=) I ended up here by accident but I will definitely be back and I loved Julie & Julia……..even when Julia let Julie down she still persevered! BEAUTIFUL!!!!
