Hello, Joy. I'm so happy you came across my site and enjoyed this article. I enjoyed re-reading it after so long once I saw your comment. Thank you for that as well, because re-reading this reminded me of a strength I had when I wrote it. I have turned 30 since writing this, and I've felt lost and regretful about things because I'm not where I thought I would be. But I was right when I wrote this - it doesn't matter. There's still so much to learn, accomplish and endure. Life continues to unfold.

And I still think Gilbert is annoying. I did end up trying to watch the film when it came out on Netflix. I couldn't even get through the first part of it. I don't even think she made it to Italy before I became fed up and turned it off. It was AWFUL, worse than the book!
